Box Score GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The Montana Tech women's basketball team dropped the first of two games to the University of Providence 59-46.
The Orediggers (4-10) struggled shooting the ball hitting just 25.4 percent of their field goals and 1-of-12 from beyond the arc. No Orediggers reached double-digits.
The Argos shot 40 percent from the field.
Dani Urick and
Brooke Heggie had 8 points each.
Mollie Peoples and Nia Faletoi had 7 points a piece.
Madison Allen had 4 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists.
Emilee Maldonado led the Argos with 19 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists.
Parker Esary finished with a double-double with 16 points and 15 rebounds.
Montana Tech tips off against Providence tomorrow at 2 p.m.
