BUTTE, Mont. – Montana Tech had the hot hand downing Montana State Northern 73-54.
The Orediggers (20-5, 9-1) shot 50% from the field as they hit the 20-win mark on the season.
Tech had a 33-24 lead at halftime and expanded the margin in the second half.
Caleb Bellach led the Orediggers with 22 points while going 4 for 7 from beyond the arc.
Sindou Diallo had 12 points, four rebounds, and a pair of steals.
Drew Huse had nine points and
Taylor England finished with eight points and six rebounds.
The Lights shot 33.9% in the game.
Tanner McCliment-Call led the team with 15 points and five rebounds. Mascio McCadney had 12 points.
Montana Tech hits the road next week when they travel to Montana Western Friday and Rocky Mountain Saturday.
