GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The Montana Tech men's basketball team outran the University of Providence Argos 76-66.
The Orediggers (14-5, 3-1) led 40-35 at halftime and built on their lead in the second half. Tech played tough around the basket outrebounding the Argos 48-36 and scoring 36 points inside the paint.
Five Orediggers hit double digits led by
Caleb Bellach with 15 points.
Sindou Diallo and
Taylor England had 14 each.
Derrius Collins netted 12 points and
Camdyn LaRance had 10 points off the bench.
Bellach and England led the team with nine rebounds apiece.
Brendan Howard led the Argos with 16 points and Marcus Stephen had 15.
Montana Tech is on the road next Thursday at MSU Northern.
