Frontier Conference Releases Volleyball Preseason Coaches' Poll

WHITEFISH, Mont. – The Frontier Conference released the 2022 Volleyball Coaches' Preseason Poll today. Defending conference champion University of Providence is the preseason favorite, but Montana Tech and the Argos both received three first place votes.
 
Providence edged out the Orediggers in the preseason poll in total votes with 23 to Tech's 22.
 
Carroll College was third in the poll followed by Rocky Mountain, Montana Western, and MSU-Northern.
 
Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own teams. First place was worth five points, a second place vote is worth four points, a third place vote is worth three points, a fourth place vote is worth two points and a fifth place vote is worth one point.
 
The Orediggers reached the NAIA National Championship Final Site for the fourth time under 11th year head coach Brian Solomon. Tech were ranked No. 14 in the NAIA Postseason Coaches' Top 25 poll.
