KANSAS CITY, Mo.- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released their first Men's Cross Country Coaches' Top 25 Rating of the season, and the Oredigger land at No. 25 in the country.

After receiving votes in the preseason poll (released on Aug. 24) the Orediggers have jumped into the Top 25 after a strong showing at the Masters Invitational this past weekend. At that event the Oredigger men finished second among NAIA schools, while the Oredigger women finished third.
In a field of 236 runners at the Masters Invitational, Orediggers
Edwin Kipainoi finished sixth overall, and
Justin Morgan finished 12
th, pacing the Oredigger men's team to a 6
th place finish.
Indiana Wesleyan is ranked the number one team, receiving 11 first place votes, and 578 total points. In second is Milligan (Tenn.) with eight first place votes, and 571 points. The Master's (Calif.) is ranked third in the country with 542 points. Saint Mary (Kan.) is fourth, and Dordt (Iowa) round out the top five.
Frontier Conference member Carroll College is ranked No. 19, and Rocky Mountain College is receiving votes.
The Oredigger cross country teams will next be in action at the MSU Billings Invitational on Friday, October 6
th.
