KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Montana Tech football season will continue!
Montana Tech carries the seventh seed into the NAIA Football Championship Series, earning an at-large bid and home-field advantage in the Saturday, November 30 second round from the selection committee. The NAIA announced the full bracket Sunday evening live on NAIA.org.
The Orediggers (9-2), ranked No. 8 in the latest NAIA coaches' poll, received a bid for second-consecutive season and the 11th time in the program's storied history. Montana Tech was the NAIA runner-up in 1996.
Tech will await a winner from this Saturday's first-round games that will be determined following that round's completion. The 69th Annual NAIA National Championship is scheduled for Saturday, December 21 at Durham County Memorial Stadium in Durham, N.C.

Montana Tech is 5-9 all-time in NAIA championship series history. The Orediggers have a 4-1 record at home in those games.
Tech rolls into the postseason winners of five straight games, dating back to a 97-0 victory over Simpson October 19. The Diggers defeated archrival and 23rd-ranked Carroll, 42-14, Saturday to close out the regular season.
Montana Tech athletics will announce information on scheduling, tickets, and fan experience for the November 30 NAIA second-round playoff game on Bob Green Field at Alumni Coliseum as it becomes available.
