HELENA, Mont. -- Five Montana Tech men's cross country student-athletes represented the Orediggers on the annual Academic All-Conference teams, the Frontier Conference and award sponsors Billings Clinic and Logan Health announced this week.
Seniors
Ian Barville and
Jon Hansen and juniors
Konnor Gregerson,
Jacob Sriraman, and
Ben Zerr all earned the award, which requires a 3.25 cumulative grade-point average and at least sophomore academic status for student-athletes to be eligible.
The Frontier Conference named 21 men from its six member schools to the team. Montana Tech's five recipients was the second-most from any school.
The Oredigger men will race for the conference championship this week in Billings. The 8k race at Amend Park is scheduled to go off Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 1:45 p.m., following the women's 1 p.m. gun.
