AUSTIN, Texas -- College Sports Communicators named three Montana Tech volleyball players to its Academic All-District team, the organization announced Tuesday.

Seniors Jelena Jablanov and Olivia LaBeau and junior Kinnidi Willmore each earned the honor. A student-athlete must carry a 3.5 cumulative GPA, sophomore standing or better both academically and athletically, and be a starter or significant contributor to her team to be eligible for the award. Academic All-District award recipients are then selected for eligibility for Academic All-America honors by a CSC committee.

Jablanov, a libero from Novi Sad, Serbia, anchored the back row for Montana Tech with a team-best 564 digs, a number that ranked 47th across the NAIA. She also accumulated 69 assists and 33 aces. Jablanov carried a 3.95 GPA in Montana Tech's business and information technology program, graduating last week.

LaBeau, a middle hitter from Billings, led the Orediggers in both blocks (124) and attack percentage (.342), ranking in the top 40 in the NAIA in both categories. She also ranked fourth in the Frontier Conference with 387 kills. She was a third-team NAIA/AVCA All-American and a first-team all-conference honoree. An interdisciplinary arts and sciences major, LaBeau carries a 3.85 GPA.

Willmore, an outside hitter from Claremont, Calif., was a first-team All-Frontier Conference awardee after leading the league with 3.9 points per set. Her 443 kills ranked second in the conference and 19th in the nation. Willmore has worked to a 3.58 GPA as an exercise and health science major.

The trio helped Montana Tech to a 20-12 record on the season, and fourth-straight NAIA national tournament appearance, where they topped Bushnell in a home first-round match before bowing out in pool play as the No. 15 seed earlier this month.

The NAIA CSC Academic All-America program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure. For more information about CSC's Academic All-District and Academic All-America teams program, visit AcademicAllAmerica.com.

The Academic All-America teams will be unveiled January 14, 2025.
