Montana Tech Notches a 64-43 win in Havre

HAVRE, Mont.- Montana Tech (12-12, 3-8 Frontier) went on the road and extinguished the Skylights of MSU-Northern 64-43.

The Skylights won both of the first two meetings between the teams, by a combined four points. The first time the two teams played in Havre the Orediggers were never able to get their offense started shooting 26% for the contest.

Montana Tech jumped out to a 12-10 lead after one, they pushed that lead out to a dozen (29-17) at the half, and they never looked back.

The Orediggers outrebounded the Skylights 39-27. Another big team stat is the Orediggers only committed five turnovers on the day.

Individually, Montana Tech was led by Aubrie Rademacher with 19 points, on 9-18 shooting. She also pulled down a team-leading 7 rebounds. Brooklynn Hankwitz closed out the game with 16 total points, eleven of those coming in the fourth quarter.

The Skylights (10-14, 4-7 Frontier) were led by Shyan Krass who put up 8 points. The Orediggers held the Skylights to 28% shooting from the floor, and 29% from the 3-point line.
