HELENA, Mont. -- Montana Tech's men's golf team saw eight student-athletes honored on the Frontier Conference's Academic All-Conference team, the league office announced Thursday.
Seniors
Nick Pasquarello,
JR Small, and
Gabe Witham; juniors
Trey Mattson and Joe Optiz; and sophomores
Tyler Avery,
Joe McGreevey, and
Riley Smith all made the grade.
Student-athletes must be sophomores or above and maintain 3.25 cumulative grade-point average to be eligible. The Frontier honored a total of 22 men's golfers from three programs on this spring's list.
Montana Tech's men's golf team wrapped up the 2024-25 season with a third-place team finish at last week's Frontier Conference/California Pacific Conference NAIA Qualifier in Phoenix, Ariz.
