BUTTE, Mont. -- Montana Tech volleyball and head coach
Brian Solomon are excited to announce the Orediggers' 2025 recruiting class.
Eight newcomers, five high school recruits and three transfer student-athletes, will join the Montana Tech program this fall.
"We certainly had a lot of areas to address after graduating such a strong senior class last season," Solomon said. "This group adds a lot of experience and talent across the board. We look forward to their ability to contribute this year and long term."
The Montana Tech volleyball class of 2025 is as follows:
- Talan Dodson, Outside Hitter, 5-10, San Antonio, Texas, Davenport HS
Major: Accounting
Prior Awards: Texas UIL 4A champion, Texas UIL 4A Tournament MVP, District 27-4A Newcomer of the Year, two-time District 27-4A MVP, three-time Davenport High School MVP, TGCA 4A All-Star Team, three-time TGCA 4A All-State, TGCA 4A Offensive Player of the Year, San Antonio Express Player of the Year
- Breanne Jacobson, Outside Hitter, 6-1, Syracuse, Utah, Syracuse HS
Major: Nursing
Prior Awards: Three-time honorable mention all-region
- Kodiann Lynn, Right Side, 6-0, Simms, Mont., Miles CC/Simms HS
Major: Radiologic Technology
Prior Awards: Second-team All-Mon-Dak Conference, Miles CC all-time kills leader
- Kenedee Moore, Defensive Specialist, 5-7, Kalispell, Mont., Glacier HS
Major: Business Management
Prior Awards: Two-time first-team All-Western AA Conference
- Kennedy Oman, Middle Blocker, 6-1, Plain City, Utah, Northwest College/Fremont HS

- Ellie Reinertson, Setter, 5-11, Gardiner, Mont., Gardiner HS

Major: Nursing
Prior Awards: 2024 MHSA Class A MVP, two-time first-team All-Class A, two-time first-team All-Southwest A
- Payton Treadwell, Right Side, 5-11, Meridian, Idaho, Carroll College/Rocky Mountain HS
Major: Environmental Engineering
Montana Tech went 20-12 last season and earned an at-large bid to the NAIA national championship, where the Orediggers won one match and lost two, seeing the season end in pool play. Tech was ranked No. 21 in the nation in the final coaches' poll.
