HELENA -- Kinnidi Willmore was a force at the net for the No. 21-ranked Montana Tech volleyball team over the weekend.
Monday, the Orediggers senior garnered the Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference attacker of the week award for her efforts.
Willmore, an outside hitter from Claremont, Calif., began Montana Tech's first conference roadtrip of the weekend with 14 kills and a .545 hitting percentage in the Orediggers' sweep of Mayville State Friday evening.
She followed that up Saturday with a 19-kill performance in Tech's five-set victory at Valley City State, hitting .444.
It's the first-career Frontier weekly honor for Willmore, who was a first-team all-conference selection a season ago.
She and the Orediggers, who sport a 6-2 record and have won four-straight matches, will open up home conference play Wednesday at 7 p.m. against Montana Western.
