GREAT FALLS -- Rhett Reynolds scored a season-high 18 points, Brayden Koch and Hayden Diekhans joined him in double figures, and the Montana Tech men's basketball team rolled over Providence, 88-58, to close out the regular season. 

Reynolds added 10 rebounds for his first collegiate double-double in the win. He also blocked two shots and stole the ball twice. 

Koch chipped in 13 points and three assists, while Diekhans tallied 10 points and two steals. 

Reynolds scored the first six points of the night for the Orediggers (21-7, 15-7 Frontier Conference) as Tech jumped out to a 10-4 lead, but Providence hung around in the first half. Tech took a 34-27 lead into the locker room. 

Koch and Diekhans carried the load as Montana Tech pulled away in the second half. The duo combined for 21 points in the final period, shooting a combined 8-for-8 from the field. Leading by 10 with 14:55 to play, a pair of Ethan Venema free throws kicked off a 17-2 Oredigger run that put the game away. 

Quinn Swanson led the Argos (5-23, 5-17) with 18 points and eight rebounds. 

Montana Tech finished the regular season tied with Montana Western for fourth in the Frontier standings, and the two will square off in the quarterfinal round of the conference tournament Saturday at 5 p.m. at the Butte Civic Center.
