KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Twenty-five Montana Tech student-athletes garnered NAIA Scholar-Athlete designations for their work both in the classroom and in competition, the NAIA national office announced this week.
The spring iteration of the tri-annual list honored student-athletes from the Orediggers' men's and women's golf and men's and women's outdoor track & field teams.
To qualify as an NAIA Scholar-Athlete, students must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for their sport, and have attended their institution for at least one full year.
