Torgerson named finalist for CSC Videographer of the Year

Montana Tech Athletics

GOLDEN, Colo. -- Montana Tech alumnus Kyle Torgerson earned a nod as a finalist for College Sports Communicators' College Division Videographer of the Year award, CSC announced Monday.

Torgerson, a Great Falls native and December 2024 graduate of Montana Tech, played parts of four football seasons for the Orediggers before injury cut his senior season short in 2024. He was a second-team All-Frontier Conference receiver for Tech in 2022 and the football program's NAIA Champion of Character nominee in 2024.

After his playing days ended, Torgerson began working for the football program and athletic department as a videographer through his side project, Kyle Torgerson Creative. His body of work in the 2025-26 seasons earned him the finalist nod in the annual contest.

CSC will announce the winner on Wednesday, June 10 at a luncheon during the organization's CSC Unite convention in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Torgerson's service to his alma mater continues in other ways as well. He is currently working for the Montana Tech Foundation as a videographer.
