BUTTE -- Montana Tech athletics is proud to recognize its NAIA Champions of Character for each of the Orediggers' 12 sports in the 2025-26 seasons. 

These dozen student-athletes were chosen by their respective coaching staffs as those who embody the NAIA's five core values in the Champions of Character initiative — integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant-leadership. 

The following student-athletes were recognized at the end of their respective seasons. The 12 Montana Tech NAIA Champions of Character for 2025-26 were:  
Men's Basketball – Lane Love, sophomore, Billings, Mont. 
Women's Basketball – Liv Wangerin, senior, Plentywood, Mont. 
Men's Cross Country – Noah Miller, freshman, Billings, Mont. 
Women's Cross Country – Kamryn Comba, senior, Idaho Falls, Idaho 
Football – Christian Vetter, senior, Butte, Mont. 
Men's Golf – Trey Mattson, senior, Missoula, Mont. 
Women's Golf – Kodie Hoagland, graduate student, Butte, Mont. 
Men's Indoor Track & Field – Morgan McClernan, senior, Butte, Mont. 
Men's Outdoor Track & Field – Bryon Fanning, sophomore, Three Forks, Mont. 
Women's Indoor Track & Field – Abby Clark, graduate student, Fort Benton, Mont. 
Women's Outdoor Track & Field – Jadyn Vermillion, senior, Myrtle Creek, Ore. 
Volleyball – Malia Harris, senior, Anaconda, Mont.
