LAUREL -- Casha Corder put together one of the best days of her Montana Tech golf career, carding rounds of 76 and 77 Monday on Day 1 of the Beartooth Invitational at Laurel Golf Club.
The junior sits fourth on the leaderboard, just four strokes off leader Inkjung Charnchanayothin from The College of Idaho.
Corder led Montana Tech to fifth in the team standings, 18 strokes behind fourth-place Dickinson State.
Ryann Walker (85-94) also played into the top 20, shooting to a tie for 19th.
Keni Wade (96-92),
Delaney Clark (100-90), and
Olivia McGreevey rounded out the scoring for the Orediggers.
Montana Tech will play the third and final round of the Beartooth Invitational Tuesday at 8:30 a.m.
