The Lady Digger volleyball team returns to Butte on Saturday September 15th for a match against the Westminster Griffins.
The Diggers are (11-3, 1-1) on the season. The Griffins are (8-5, 1-1) after one week of conference play. Westminster is in a large group just outside of the Top 25 Coaches Poll not quite receiving enough votes to enter the poll.
The Diggers are leading the conference in hitting percentage (0.230), kills per set (12.2) and digs per set (17.8). They are second in service aces (1.7 per set).
The Griffins are averaging 11.3 kills per set on 0.194 hitting percentage. They are blocking 1.7 per set. They lead the conference in service aces with 97 and average 2.0 per set.
Freshman
Kimmy Kavran is leading the conference and the nation in digs and digs per game (6.96).
Freshman Alisoin Lunde is leading the conference in assists with 10.5 per set.
Sophomore
Korey Krumm is ranked third in the conference in hitting percentage with 0.301.
