BUTTE – Australian Danni Devenny strong play continued Thursday night as she dropped 17 points in the second half to lead the Lady Diggers over Rocky Mountain College 50-46 at Kelvin Sampson Court.
Montana Tech (15-10, 8-5) clinched at least the fourth place seed at the Frontier Conference tournament.
Rocky Mountain (8-15, 5-8) falls for the second time to the Lady Diggers this year.
Devenny finished with a career high 21 points in the game. She hit 2 of 3 from three-point range and went 9 of 11 from the free throw line. She added six rebounds and a pair of steals to her totals.
Brook Pokorny had nine points off the bench hitting 4 of 5 in the game and 1 for 1 from beyond the arc.

Shaye Murphy and
Erika Jenkins had eight rebounds each.
Brittany Myers and Kalli McCloskey had ten points each for the Bears.
Montana Tech's final regular season home game is Friday night. The Lady Diggers will honor their seniors prior to the tip-off with Dickinson State.
