Box Score BUTTE, Mont. – The Lady defeated Northwest Indian College Lady Eagles, 87-39 Saturday night at the HPER Complex. The stifling Oredigger defense limited NWIC to just 25.5 percent from the field on 14 makes. The Eagles produced only 11 points in the second half and had a total of 19 turnovers.

The Lady Diggers (6-4) had four players in double figures including senior Mandy Machinal who went 7-of-9 from the field for a game-high 20 points. Forward Kabri Emerson had her fifth double-double of the season with 13 points and 12 boards. Martha Dembek and Kayla DeWit added 11 and 10 points respectively. Sophomore Rachel Farris added a spark off the bench with eight points and pulled down six rebounds.

Jolene Nagy paced Northwest Indian College with 11 points and 10 rebounds.

The two teams square off again tomorrow night at the HPER Complex with tipoff slated at 5:30 p.m.
