BUTTE, Mont. – For the second night in a row, poor shooting sunk the Digger men's basketball team. Tech falls to Carroll 70-54.
The Orediggers shot 34.5 percent from the field in the second half and made only 3 of 11 three point attempts.
Carroll blazed the second half shooting 72.2 percent from the field and finished with 61 percent in the game.
The Saint outrebounded the Orediggers 31-23 in the game.
Tech (12-10, 4-6) loses their second straight while Carroll (7-15, 2-8) gets their second conference win of the season.
Bryan Bock led the Diggers with 16 points. He also had five rebounds, three blocks and two assists.
Adam Greger was the only other Oredigger in double figures finishing with 12 points and three rebounds.
Chris McGrath led the Saints with 25 points. He also had two rebounds, four assists and two steals.
Montana Tech takes to the road next weekend when they travel north to Havre.
