Rocky Stops Diggers

Box Score BUTTE, Mont. – Rocky Mountain had a powerful second half downing the Diggers 80-73.

Montana Tech's (12-6, 3-1) win streak ends at eight games.

Rocky (13-6, 2-3) won their second straight after opening conference play with three losses.

Techs trailed 38-35 at the half, but were outscored 31-19 in the second frame.

The Orediggers had difficulty with the three hitting 3 of 14 on the night. Turnovers were also a factor as Tech turned the ball over 18 times.

Rocky shot 61.9 percent in the second half and 49.1 in the game.

Adam Greger led the Diggers with 21 points on 9-of-14 shooting.

Antonio Snow had 15 points, four assists and three rebounds and three steals.

Chase Haack had a career-high 20 points, five rebounds, and three assists.

Tyree Anderson led the Bears with 17 points, four rebounds, and four assists.

Tech is home again on Saturday when they host Carroll College.
