Box Score LEWISTON, Idaho – The Lewis-Clark State Warriors had the hot hand defeating Montana Tech 96-62 Saturday night.
The Warriors shot 54.2 percent from the field in the game and a blistering 13 of 25 from beyond the arc. The bench also poured in over half of the teams points with 49.
The Orediggers (5-10, 0-3) lose their tenth straight contest.
Freshman
Lukas Vining led the Diggers with 12 points going 5 of 7 from the field and 2 for 4 from three point.
Sadiq Inuwa had a season high 11 points going 5 for 7. He also pulled down seven rebounds.
Leading scorer
Jalen Coates was held to just nine points, the first time not touching double digits for the sophomore.
Doug McDaniel led the Warriors with 18 points shooting 7 for 9 in the game and 4 of 5 from three.
Nick Emerson put in 17 points shooting 50 percent in the game and 3 of 7 from long.
Montana Tech returns home next Thursday when they host Montana Western.
