Martha Dembek and
Hattie Thatcher to defeat MSU-Northern, 80-67.
Montana Tech jumped out to a 14 point advantage at the end of the first frame, 28-14, and led 43-31 at the half.
Martha Dembek scored a career-high 31 points a week after scoring 29 against Montana Western. Dembek was 10-for-14 from the floor and 2-for-5 from three point land.
Hattie Thatcher also scored a career-high 27 points on 10-of-22 shooting. Thatcher grabbed five rebounds and dished five assists in an all around game.
Montana Tech finished sixth in the Frontier Conference standings and travels to No. 3 Carroll College next Wednesday.
