BUTTE-- The Montana Tech men's basketball team defeated Salish Kootenai College 121-68 on Tuesday night.

John Chapman led seven Orediggers who scored in double-figures in the victory. Chapman scored 27 points on 9-of-13 shooting and was a perfect 3-for-3 from downtown. Nick Fitts scored 19 points, Iman Chatman scored 17, and Chris O'Neill tallied 15. Also hitting double figures were Derrius Collins scoring 13, and Taylor England and Jake Miles who each had 11 markers.

The Diggers shot 61 percent from the floor in the victory and were 15-for-30 from three point land. The Diggers out rebounded the Bison 41-to-30 with Iman Chatman collecting a game-high 10 rebounds.

Montana Tech improves to 5-3 overall and begin Frontier Conference play next week in Dillon against Montana Western on Thursday night at 7:30 p.m.
