Box Score BILLINGS- Montana Tech lost a hard fought contest to Rocky Mountain College Saturday night, 60-52.

The Diggers trailed Rocky 34-26 at the half before picking up the defensive pressure to cut the game down to five points, 55-50. with a minute left. 

Montana Tech shot 37 percent from the field and Rocky shot 45.3 percent for the game. Rocky scored 44 of their points in the paint while the Diggers scored 26 in the key. 

Both teams combined to shoot just 3-for-21 from three point land in the contest.

Kaylynn Coverdell led the way scoring 11 points for Montana Tech. 

Montana Tech falls to 11-7 and 1-5 in Frontier Conference play. 

The Diggers return to the court against University of Providence on Friday night in Great Falls next week.
