Box Score GREAT FALLS- Jake Miles made a 26-footer with 2.6 seconds left to defeat University of Providence 70-67 on Thursday night.

In a game that took 12 days to complete, the Diggers rallied back from a 33-31 deficit at the halftime of the January 6th tipoff. 

Montana Tech (1-5, 9-8) only turned the ball over four times in the 20 minute second half contest. The Diggers finished the game shooting 47 percent from the floor and making 13 threes in the contest, with seven coming tonight. 

Jake Miles led the Diggers with 20 points on 6-of-10 shooting beyond the arc. John Chapman was 4-for-7 from three tallying 12 points while Dylan Pannabecker and Trent Molesworth each chipped in nine. Dushaun Rice led the Argos with 18 points. 

Montana Tech plays again Friday night at 7:30 p.m. against University of Providence.
