Box Score LEWISTON, Idaho – Montana Tech women's basketball could not keep up with Lewis-Clark State in the second half falling 87-71.

The Orediggers (14-14, 4-12) trailed by six at the half, but the Warriors shot a blazing 57.6 percent from the field in the game. The Warriors hit 8 of 16 from beyond the arc and
had 46 points in the paint to just 18 by the Diggers.

Tech took advantage of 18 turnovers by LC-State but it wasn't enough.

Kourtney Coverdell led all scorers with 20 points hitting 5 of 10 from long and 5 of 6 from the free throw line.

Monica Landdeck had 19 points going 4 for 8 from three point range.

Tech lost the battle of the boards grabbing 31 to 43 by the Warriors.

Delaney Henery led the Warriors with 16 points.

Montana Tech returns home hosting Montana State Northern next Friday.
