HELENA, Mont.- Montana Tech men's basketball stumbled late against the Fighting Saints on Tuesday night in the PE Center falling in overtime, 82-78.
The Orediggers, who trailed 34-32, traded leads back and forth with Carroll in the whole second half before the Saints forced overtime at the free throw line.
Montana Tech shot 46% from the floor and made nine threes in the loss while the Saints shot 44.4% from the field and 33.3% from three.
Four Orediggers scored in double figures led by
Sindou Diallo's 20 points,
Troy Owens Jr.'s 19 markers,
Dylan Pannabecker's 15, and
Taylor England's 12 point and 7 rebound performance.
Jovan Sljivancanin led the Saints with 25 points on 21 shots.
The Diggers get back into action on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Kelvin Sampson Court when they host Lewis-Clark State.
