DILLON, Mont.- Montana Tech started hot and didn't slow down on Thursday night against Montana Western winning, 75-59.
The Orediggers (17-11, 9-8 Conf.) led the Bulldogs 35-22 at the half after shooting 48.3% from the floor. Montana Tech forced the Bulldogs, who shot just 40% in the contest, into 16 turnovers.
The Orediggers were led in scoring by
Sindou Diallo who had 22 points on 10-for-16 shooting while
Taylor England added 18 points and 8 rebounds.
Cody Baumstarck came off the bench to score 14 points and grab 8 rebounds. Baumstarck was a perfect 6-for-6 from the floor including three two-handed jams.
Dylan Pannabecker scored 13 points while
Drew Huse added 5 points and
Troy Owens Jr. scored 3.
The Orediggers shot 86.7% from the free throw line in the victory.
Connor Burkhart and Cedric Boone led the Bulldogs with 10 points.
Montana Tech travels to Billings to take on Rocky on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
