Saints Overpower in Second Half

HELENA, Mont. – The Montana Tech women's basketball team falls behind in the second half losing to No. 7 Carroll College.
 
The Orediggers kept the game tied at halftime 31-31 shooting over 50 percent from the field in the half. The Saints outscored Tech 21-11 in the third frame and held the lead through the end.
 
The Saints led the rebound battle 35-21.
 
Tia Faletoi led the Orediggers with 16 points and 4 rebounds.
 
Soda Rice was the only other Oredigger in double digits with 11 points and 2 rebounds.
 
Danielle Wagner finished with 25 points and 2 rebounds leading the Saints.
 
Montana Tech (4-8) returns home next weekend against Montana Western.
