BUTTE, Mont. – Montana Western Bulldogs cruised past Montana Tech Orediggers 74-52.
Western (9-4) shot just 32.4 percent in the first half and shot 1 of 17 from long, but still took a 27-18 lead into the locker room at the break. The Bulldogs shot 59.1 percent in the second half extending their lead.
The Orediggers (4-9) struggled to make shot shooting 27.3 percent in the first half and 36.5 in the game. Tech hit 1 of 11 from three point range in the game.
Madison Allen led the Orediggers in scoring with 13 points and 3 rebounds.
Dani Urick scored 9 and
Aubrie Rademacher had 7 points and 8 rebounds off the bench.
Tia Faletoi had 6 points and 6 rebounds.
Brynley Fitzgerald led Western with 26 points and 7 rebounds.
Shainy Mack had 13 points and Sydney Sheridan had 10.
Montana Tech hosts Western again tomorrow afternoon.
