WHITEFISH, Mont. – Montana Tech's Drake Schlachter was named the Erck Hotel/Frontier Conference Track & Field Athlete of the Week.

Schlachter, a sophomore from Penn Valley, California, competed at the Bobcat Preview hosted by Montana State last week. Schlachter finished fifth out of 20 runners in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.04 seconds. He also finished in second place in the long jump with a mark with a jump of 6.70 meters.
