WHITEFISH, Mont. – The Frontier Conference announced the Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Track Athlete of the Week is Montana Tech's Ian Barville.
 
Barville, a sophomore from Spokane Valley, Washington, ran at the Stacy Dragila Open hosted by Idaho State in Pocatello, Idaho. Barville finished in sixth out of 32 entrants in the men's 800-meter with a time of 1:57.67. He was the top NAIA runner in the event competing against NCAA Division I, II, and JUCO schools.
