WALLA WALLA, Wash.- For thirty minutes the Wolves were able to hold the Orediggers down, but not they couldn't do it for a full 40 minutes. Montana Tech went on the road to take down the Wolves of Walla Walla University 69-63.

The Wolves jumped out to an 18-10 lead after the first quarter, shooting 44% from the field, and holding the Diggs to 29% over the first 10 minutes.

Tech was able to cut into that lead a bit going into the break trailing 35-28.

Things changed for the better in the second half, Montana Tech outscored the Wolves 21-14 in the third to tie it up going into the final frame, and that last quarter was all Montana Tech. The Diggs shot a blistering 48% from the field in the second half, and an even more impressive 50% from the arc to grab the lead and never let it go.

"I'm so proud of the toughness and resiliency of this team." Head Coach Jeff Graham. " After two tough games and a drive to Walla Walla last night, everyone stepped up and played well. Kia Wasson and Ally Cleverly had big-time games, combining for 29 points. Liv Wangerin set the tone offensively scoring 22 points and Aubrie Rademacher had a double-double (10 points, 10 Rebounds) despite some foul trouble. We went 13-14 from the line and were able to clinch the game there."

The Orediggers (3-2) had four players in double-digits, again led by Live Wangerin with 22 points, on 9 of 16 shooting. Ally Cleverly netted 18, going 4 of 5 from the three-point line.  Kia Wasson finished with 11, and Rademacher hit 10 points and pulled down a team-high 10 rebounds.

Walla Walla (1-1) was led by Chariah Daniels with 20 points.
