HELENA, Mont.- A pair of Orediggers have been named Frontier Conference Track and Field Athletes of the Week, Alyssa Plant and Cade VanVleet.

VanVleet had a strong showing at the Al Manuel Invite in Missoula, placing second in the Shot Put and Discus Throw, and finishing fifth in the Hammer Throw. He hit the NAIA B qualifying standard in the Discus with a mark of 48.71m. VanVleet was the top-placing competitor among NAIA programs in all three events.

Plant placed fourth in the 5000 Meters at the Al Manuel Invite on Saturday. She completed the race in 19 minutes and 6.23 seconds to lead all NAIA competitors in the field. Her time established a new personal best in the event.
