BUTTE -- Hadley Humpherys scored 16 points, Olivia Nielson added 15, and the No. 25-ranked Montana Tech women's basketball team rolled by Mayville State, 90-43, Saturday evening in Valley Bank Arena. 

Liv Wangerin and Kameryn Ketcham also scored in double figures for the Orediggers (9-1, 4-1 Frontier Conference), tallying 11 points each. 

Montana Tech jumped out to a 17-8 lead after the first quarter, doing so with stifling defense. The Orediggers held Mayville State to just 3-for-17 shooting in the opening period. Tech stretched the lead to 38-19 by halftime, powered by seven first-half points from both Nielson and Hallie Neibauer. 

Ketcham helped Montana Tech extend the lead further, scoring all 11 of her points after halftime, and Humpherys totaled 10 in the second 20 minutes as well. 

By the 1:57 mark in the fourth, Tech stretched the lead to 50. 

Humpherys added four rebounds and four steals to her line, while Brooke Badovinac filled up the stat sheet with eight points, six assists, three rebounds, and three steals. 

Laela Jensen powered the attack for the Comets (1-9, 0-6) with 11 points. 

Tech outscored MSU, 45-11, off the bench and held a 33-10 advantage in points off turnovers. 

The Orediggers have a chance to run their win streak to five Sunday with a 3 p.m. tip against Valley City State.
