Box Score BILLINGS, Mont. -- The No. 15-ranked Montana Tech men's basketball team lost on the road Thursday, 75-69, to Rocky Mountain in Frontier Conference play.
Ifeanyi Okeke led the Orediggers (20-5, 8-4 Frontier) with 16 points, while
Levi Torgerson added 15 and
Keeley Bake chipped in 13 for Tech.
Rocky Mountain (17-8, 6-6) jumped out to a 12-3 lead before the Orediggers got their feet under them. Tech cut the lead to as few as four and went into halftime trailing, 25-21.
The Orediggers took their first lead since the early going with 18:30 left in the game thanks to
Hayden Diekhans' basket, but the advantage didn't last. The Battlin' Bears retook the lead for good at the 9-minute mark, thanks to a Colton Spencer 3. RMC held off a couple late Tech runs to keep the advantage.
Montana Tech will hit the road again Saturday for a 4 p.m. game at Carroll College before returning home for the final two games of the regular season.
