Digger Athletics Hall of Fame
For three decades, Schleeman has been a cornerstone of Oredigger football, shaping the experience and outcomes of hundreds of student-athletes. His continuity, teaching, and mentorship have spanned multiple head coaches and competitive eras, contributing to championship-caliber teams and postseason runs while upholding academic standards and personal development. Schleeman was the NAIA's assistant football coach of the year in 2010. He exemplifies the day-to-day excellence, care, and integrity that define Montana Tech.
Originally from Nebraska, Schleeman had a decorated playing career at Peru State before coaching at his alma mater, Shields Valley High School in Clyde Park, Chadron State College in Nebraska, and Kemmerer High School in Kemmerer, Wyo. He joined Montana Tech's staff in 1996.Â
