Digger Athletics Hall of Fame
An orthopedic surgeon and longtime team physician for Oredigger athletics whose leadership, philanthropy, and athlete-safety advocacy elevated Montana Tech for decades. In 1997, he helped launch the St. James/Montana Sports Medicine program that contiues to supply athletic trainers and physician coverage to Montana Tech and the region. He later led concussion-safety initiatives locally.
A former Montana Tech Foundation board member and key donor to the Student Success Center, Dr. DiGiovine's impact spans competitive care, student-athlete welfare, and community support.
As a past Pittsburgh Steelers team physician, he brought elite sports-medicine standards to Butte.
