Butte – Walla Walla came to Kelvin Sampson Court more prepared than last night's game. But the Lady Diggers were still too much for the Wolves winning 83-32.
Montana Tech (5-4) moves above .500 winning their third straight game. The pair of wins against Walla Walla will boost the Diggers confidence as they are set to start conference next time out.

The Lady Diggers didn't jump out to the type of lead they had last night, but the deficit slowly grew throughout the half. Tech led by as many as 24 points with 2:52 to go in the half and settled for a 40-20 score at the break.
Walla Walla had 17 turnovers in the first frame.
Laini Kalumbi led the diggers scoring attack in the first half draining 12 points on 6 of 9 shooting. Kalumbi finished with 18 points, six rebounds, seven steals and three assists.
The Lady Diggers opened the second half with a 24-4 run keeping the Wolves at a great distance. Tech would finish with a 50-point win.
Three Diggers had 11 points in the contest: Dannii Devenny,
Kelsey DeWit and
Shaye Murphy.
Devenny added seven rebounds and a pair of assists to her totals.
DeWit scored all of her 11 points in the first half. She also had three blocks and two steals.
Murphy had five rebounds in addition to her points. She went 4 of 5 from the field and 3 of 3 from the line.
The Lady Diggers are back in action in their first Frontier Conference matchup. Tech heads to Lewiston, Idaho December 22
nd to open the conference season.
