Black Hills State is winless on the season (0-2) after losing 57-52 to South Dakota School of Mines and 68-45 to Northern State. Montana Tech center Kayla DeWit scored 20 points in Montana Tech's 67-60 win over Dickinson State on Saturday. The center shot 8-9 from the floor and 4-5 from the free throw line.  DeWit is averaging 16.8 points per game for the Lady Diggers while shooting 67.3 percent from the floor and 77.3 percent from the charity stripe. Against Oglala Lakota College DeWit shot 6-6 from the floor and 1-1 at the free throw line for an efficient 13 points.
 
Double Digit Boards
Kabri Emerson continues to collect caroms at a feverish pace for Montana Tech averaging 9.8 rebounds per game. Emerson collected 11 boards and scored eight points against Dickinson State. The former Butte High Bulldog has double digit rebounds in four of Montana Tech's last five games.
 
Machinal Back on Track
Lady Digger senior Mandy Machinal scored over 20 points for the first time since the season opener against Oglala Lakota College on Saturday when she dropped 21 markers. Machinal shot 8-16 from the floor and hit five three pointers against the Lady Bravehearts. The double digit performance was the 58^th of Machinal's Oredigger career.
