Box Score BUTTE, Mont. – The Montana Tech women's basketball team won their third straight and stay undefeated on the season thumping Mount Royal University 94-61.

The Orediggers outscored the Cougars 52-31 in the first half shooting 45.5 percent from floor and 7 of 19 from three.

Tech dominated down low grabbing 57 rebounds including 21 on offense in the game. The Orediggers had 40 points in the paint to just 18 by the Cougars.

Rachel Farris was one of two Diggers with a double-double. The junior forward had 19 points and 16 rebounds. Callee Remsen had 10 points and 10 boards. She also had six assists.

Kourtney Coverdell was part of the bench that put up 34 points. The redshirt freshman had 24 points, five rebounds and three steals in her first game.

Melissa Moore led the Cougars with 13 points and seven rebounds.

Montana Tech returns to the hardwood tomorrow afternoon on Kelvin Sampson Court. The Orediggers host the second Canadian school of the weekend. They tip off with the University of Calgary Golden Pandas tomorrow at 1 p.m.
