BUTTE -- Montana Tech's women's basketball program and head coach Jeff Graham are excited to announce the Orediggers' 2026-27 game schedule.

The Orediggers enter the season looking to build on the most successful campaign in program history a year ago. Montana Tech played to a best-ever 26-5 record and won the Frontier Conference tournament for the first time since 1983, and won an NAIA national tournament game for the first time ever.

Montana Tech finished the season ranked No. 15 in the NAIA coaches' top 25 poll after achieving the team's first-ever national ranking earlier in the season.

Fans can get their first look at the 2026-27 Oredigger team Wednesday, October 7 when it welcomes local elementary school students to Valley Bank Arena for an intrasquad game (time TBD). The team's first regular-season contest of the year will also take place at home, Saturday, October 24 when Hope International visits the Mining City.

The home non-conference slate wraps up Saturday, November 14 when Oregon Tech comes to town before the Orediggers move into Frontier play at Montana Western on Friday, November 27.

Home conference dates include Valley City State (December 4), Mayville State (December 5), Montana Western (December 12), Dickinson State (January 8), Bismarck State (January 9), Carroll (January 22), Rocky Mountain (January 23), MSU-Northern (January 29), Providence (January 30), Bellevue (February 12), and Dakota State (February 13).

The Orediggers also boast a challenging out-of-conference away slate with all four games to be against teams that finished the 2025-26 season either ranked or receiving votes in the top 25 poll (The College of Idaho, Eastern Oregon, Concordia (Neb.), and 2026 NAIA semifinalist Dakota Wesleyan).

Postseason basketball will again come to Butte as Montana Tech will play host to the Frontier Conference tournament February 26-March 1 at the Butte Civic Center.
