Box Score SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Montana Tech men's basketball had a daunting opponent in Division I opponent University of Utah Wednesday night. The PAC-12 team jumped on the Orediggers early winning the exhibition 95-45.
Down by two, senior
Chris O'Neill hit a three-pointer to take a 3-2 lead in the first minute. That would be as close as the Orediggers would get. The Utes scored the next six
points before Tech could get on the board again finish with a 51-17 lead at the break.
Utah shot 50.7 percent from the field while the Diggers hit 35 percent.
O'Neill finished with a team high 10 points and five rebounds.
Freshman
Nick Fitts had nine points going 4 of 7 from the field.
Transfer guard
Jake Miles had seven points.
Four Utes hit double-digits with Sedrick Barefield leading the team with 15 points.
