Box Score LEWISTON, Idaho – Montana Tech men's basketball dropped their first game of the season falling to Warner Pacific 75-61 Clearwater River Casino Tournament hosted by Lewis-Clark State.
The Orediggers (3-1) could not overcome a 41-30 first half deficit. Warner Pacific outrebounded Tech 39-24 in the game. The Knights used 15 offensive rebounds and 44 points in the paint.
Tech shot 44.6 percent from the field and 50 percent from three.
Jake Miles led Tech with 12 points hitting 4 of 8 from beyond the arc.
Chris O'Neill had 11 points and five assists.
John Chapman chipped in 10 points from the bench.
Xavier Cannefax had 17 points for the Knights and Collin Malcom posted a double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds.
Montana Tech continues the tournament tomorrow facing Portland Bible College.
