HELENA, Mont. — The Montana Tech Orediggers lost a tough battle with Carroll College Tuesday night, 79-61. 

The Diggers were effective on the inside all night thanks to the post play of sophomore Taylor England. England finished with a team-high 22 points on 9-for-10 shooting. 

The Diggers shot 48.9 percent from the floor but struggled from three going 3-for-10 from downtown. 

Montana Tech received 11 points from Troy Owens Jr. and 10 from Derrius Collins. 

The Orediggers had a quick turnaround after playing the Northern Lights on Saturday night and will continue their road trip as they take on Rocky Mountain College on Saturday in Billings at 7 P.M.
