KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the second poll of the 2019-20 season today. Montana Tech women's basketball is receiving votes in the national poll.

The last time last time Montana Tech women's basketball received votes in the coaches poll was January of 2017. Along with the Orediggers not quite making the top 25 with six votes, the University of Providence is also receiving six votes.

The rest of the Frontier Conference schools are in the NAIA Coaches Top 25. Carroll College dropped to No. 25. Montana Western is appearing in the poll for the first time at No. 24. Rocky Mountain College moved up to No. 20. Lewis-Clark State is at No. 13 and Montana State Northern moved up to No. 11.

Montana Tech women's basketball is at the Phoenix Frontier Classic this week. The Orediggers face San Diego Christian tonight at 8 p.m.
