Scouting the No. 7 Fighting Saints
The Fighting Saints of Carroll College are atop the Frontier Conference with a 12-4 league record. The Saints picked up a pair of league wins over Northern and Providence last weekend in Helena. The Saints are led in scoring by Match Burnham (19.4 PPG) and lead the NAIA in field goal percentage (52.7 %), three point field goal percentage (43.2 %), and free throw percentage (81.5 %).

Montana Tech has dropped both road contests against the Saints this season falling 76-68 in Helena on December 29, and 79-61 in Helena on January 15.
Taylor England scored 22 points on 9-of-10 shooting in the January 15 matchup to lead the Digger.

Scouting the Battlin' Bears
The Battlin' Bears of Rocky Mountain College are 9-7 in the Frontier Conference and currently sit in third place in the league standings. Rocky is led in scoring and rebounding by Jared Samuelson (19.3 PPG, 7.4 RPG). The Battlin' Bears stopped a three game losing skid by picking up two wins over Providence and Northern in Billings last weekend.

The Orediggers defeated Rocky 75-67 on January 5, but lost their matchup with the Battlin' Bears in Billings on January 19. In the January 19 loss, the Diggers were forced to play their starters limited minutes due to multiple players having the flu.

Taylor England leads the team in points, rebounds, and blocks (15.2 PPG, 7.3 RPG, 1.2 BPG). England leads the Frontier shooting 60.1 percent from the floor and has scored in double-figures in 24 of the Diggers 28 contests. England has shot above 50-percent from the floor in the Diggers last 10 games.

Saturday night Montana Tech will recognize seniors
Carson Dummer and
Gavin McPherson. Dummer, a Helena, Mont. native, has scored 520 points and grabbed 425 rebounds in his Digger career. McPherson, a Glendive, Mont. native who missed much of his senior year due to injury, shot 44-percent from three for his Tech career.
