WHITEFISH, Mont. - Frontier Conference Commissioner Kent Paulson announced the 2018-19 All-Conference Men's Basketball team on Wednesday morning and two Orediggers earned honors.

Montana Tech sophomore Taylor England was selected as a Second Team All-Conference performer. The sophomore from Helena, Mont., led the Frontier Conference with 10 double-doubles including 4-in-a-row to end the season. England also led the Frontier Conference in Field Goal Percentage (59.9%), Total Rebounds (256), Blocks (1.25 BPG), and was third in Steals (54) while averaging a team-best 15.3 points and scoring in double figures in 28 of Montana Tech's 32 games.

Junior Troy Owens Jr. was named to the Frontier Conference Honorable Mention Team after scoring 13.2 points per game and shooting 42.4 percent from three. Owens Jr., a Sacramento, Calif. native, scored a season-high 31 points against Lewis-Clark State on January 31.

Carroll College's Match Burnham was named the Frontier's Player of the Year while his coach Kurt Paulson was named Frontier Conference Coach of the Year. Rocky's Craig Wilmore was selected Defensive Player of the Year while Carroll freshman Shamrock Campbell and University of Providence's Jaxen Hashley were named Co-Freshman of the Year. University of Providence senior guard Jalen Shepard was selected as Newcomer of the Year. MSU-Northern junior forward Kavon Bey was selected Sixth-Man of the Year.

Montana Tech sophomore Derrius Collins was honored as Montana Tech's Frontier Conference Champion of Character Award recipient.

The Orediggers finished the season with a 17-15 overall record and a 6-12 conference record. Montana Tech's six Frontier Conference victories was the most for the program since the 2014-15 season. The Diggers also won their first postseason game since the 1998-99 season when they defeated Rocky Mountain College 70-59 in Billings in the first round of the Frontier Conference Playoffs.
